Hi, my name is Walter Lewinski and I've been doing photography on and off for a number of years.

I originally started with film using a Canon AE-1 when I was younger and didn't have much money to have large prints of  my work made. I mainly had photographs developed through the mass processing mail-in labs and the now defunct FotoHut's that were scattered around the country. I purchased and started using a black & white enlarger and did well with it, but the time, money and mess it made kind of  left a lot to be desired. So, I put down the camera for a while and saved up until digital cameras came along. My first digital was a Kodak DC-120 with a whole 1.2 megapixel sensor, went from there to a Canon D30 and then a 1DmkII and a G10. Things are a lot easier now, the big prints can be made at home with a color printer. Although, it takes a lot of time on the computer now to decide which photographs to keep, to print and to delete. Editing photo's has become easier and harder at the same time, easier because there are a lot of software tools to make it easy to touch up and harder because you have to learn how to use all the tools in the software.

I live in Massachusetts and take photographs throughout New England and Florida. I hope you enjoy the photographs I have to show.

Thankyou!
